MTP Public Outreach

Public outreach was carried out during the development of the Connections 2040 MTP to hear from as many people as possible to help inform and improve the Plan. Outreach specifically undertaken for the MTP was guided by the Connections 2040 MTP Public Participation Plan.

Primary outreach methods for the MTP included:

  • Public meetings
  • An online survey (English and Spanish) that gauged people’s thoughts on the transportation system in the AMPA 
  • Online interactive map where participants could record gaps in the transportation system
  • Promotion of the plan and solicitation of feedback at community events, in newsletters, and social media
  • Presentations to community groups and stakeholders

Although the Connections 2040 MTP has been adopted and is now being implemented, MRMPO staff remain available upon request to provide more information on the plan and/or present to groups on the Connections 2040 MTP.
